Sales Account Manager
Excellent opportunity for an organized, focused and driven individual to join our growing Sales and Support team.
This individual must be comfortable selling the value of Immediamail's products and developing solutions for potential large corporate customers.
You're expected to have thorough understanding of the Software as a Service business model, the message delivery industry with email marketing preference, and to demonstrate the ability to sell in a consultative manner.
You will be responsible for working a pipeline from lead generation all the way through to the close of the contract and launching the customer's account. Leads will be generated through cold calling methods as well as Immediamail's existing prospect and customer database. You must be passionate about helping customers.
Responsibilities:
- Conducts needs analysis and drives the prospect through the sales pipeline to closure
- Meet or exceed individual revenue goals and objectives
- Attain and exceed outbound call objectives
- Keep daily track of pipeline forecast
- Develop strategic sales plan to accomplish goals
- Coordinate and prepare in-depth sales presentations through web demonstrations, proposals to prospects and current customers as well as on-site meetings
- Work with support team to ensure a smooth launch process for new large corporate customers; effectively communicate with all parties both internally and externally on progress
- Effectively monitor new customer needs to increase customer satisfaction level
- Work closely with product development team on any product customization requests by customer
- Develop proficiency and understand the value proposition of Immediamail applications, as well as understanding of the email marketing solutions market
- Attend trade shows; travel may be required
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience in outside sales and business development
- Proven track record in over achievement of quota in an Outside sales role
- Experience selling to medium and large businesses
- Understanding of the Software as a Service business model
- Familiarity with email marketing and messaging software trends.
- Experience in start-up environment which fosters self-sufficiency and initiative is a plus
- Excellent interpersonal, communications, and public presentation skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, marketing, or communications
- Enjoy being a team player and have a sense of humor.
